Legal
Terms of Use
This is a plain-English draft describing how the website works. It has not been checked by a lawyer and it makes no claim to be legally complete or compliant with any particular law. Please review and edit it before publishing, and fill in the date it takes effect.
Last updated: TO BE COMPLETED BY THE OWNER before publishing.
1. Agreement
By using Mega Arcade Hub ("the site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2. It is free to play
Every game on the site is free. There is nothing to buy, no premium version, no in-app purchase, no subscription and no locked content.
3. No accounts
You do not need an account to play, and you cannot create one. The site does not collect personal information. See the Privacy Policy.
4. Playing the games
- You may play the games for free, for fun, for as long as you like.
- You may not copy the games and present them as your own work.
- You may not re-upload or republish the games, or the artwork, music and sound in them, without asking permission first.
- You may not use the site in a way that breaks the law or harms others.
- The games must not be sold.
5. Content is provided "as is"
The games are made as a hobby project. They are provided as they are, without promises that they will always work perfectly, without bugs, or on every possible device. Save your game progress if losing it would upset you: progress is stored only in your own browser and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data.
6. Availability
The site may be changed, have games added or removed, or be unavailable from time to time. There is no guarantee that it will always be online.
7. Ownership
The games, the artwork within them, the Mega Arcade Hub name and the website design belong to the site's creator. Third-party software used by the games is credited on the Credits page.
8. Suitable for children
The site is intended to be suitable for children. It contains no chat, no messaging, no adverts, no payments and no strangers to talk to. Parents and guardians are encouraged to read the Privacy Policy and to supervise their child's internet use in general.
9. Reporting a problem
If a game does not work, or if you spot something that should not be on the site, please use the Contact page so it can be fixed.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change when they do.
- Read every section and change anything that is not accurate.
- Fill in the "Last updated" date.
- Confirm the contact email referenced in section 9 actually exists.
- Consider whether local law requires anything further - this draft makes no claim to be complete or compliant.
