Draft - for a parent to review.

This is a plain-English draft written to describe how the website actually behaves. It has not been checked by a lawyer, and it is not a claim of compliance with any particular law or regulation. Please review and edit it before publishing, and fill in the date it takes effect.

Last updated: TO BE COMPLETED BY THE OWNER before publishing.

1. The short version

Mega Arcade Hub does not ask who you are. There are no accounts, no logins, no contact forms and no newsletter. We do not collect personal information, and we do not use advertising or tracking.

2. Information we do not collect

3. Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no cookies for tracking. If a web host adds its own cookies, that is outside this policy - see section 5.

4. What your browser stores on your own device

Some games save your progress and your best score so that they are still there next time. They do this using your browser's own storage (localStorage), which stays on your device. This information is never sent to us and we cannot see it. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data, or by using the game's own reset option.

5. Web hosting

When the site is published it will be hosted by a hosting provider. Like almost every web host, the provider may keep standard server logs that can include an IP address, the pages requested and the time of the request. That is a normal part of serving a website. The exact details depend on the host chosen.

Owner action needed:

Name the host here once one is chosen (for example GitHub Pages or Netlify), and check that host's own privacy notice before publishing.

6. Email

If you email the address on the Contact page, the message and your email address arrive in that inbox and are used only to reply. We do not add anyone to a mailing list.

7. Children's privacy

The site is made to be suitable for children. Because it does not collect personal information at all, there is nothing for a child to submit. If a parent or guardian believes something has been sent to us by mistake, email the address on the Contact page and it will be deleted.

8. Links to other websites

The games do not link away from this site. If a link to another website is ever added, that website will have its own privacy policy, and this policy will not cover it.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change too. Because no information is collected, changes are likely to be small wording fixes.

10. Questions

A parent can use the Contact page for any privacy question.

Before publishing - owner checklist
  • Read every section and change anything that is not accurate.
  • Fill in the "Last updated" date.
  • Name the hosting provider in section 5.
  • Confirm the contact email in section 6 actually exists.
  • Consider whether local law requires anything further - this draft makes no claim to be complete or compliant.
