Credits & Licences

Everything on this website is either made for the site itself, or is free software used under its own licence. This page lists both.

1. Made for this project (original)

Item How it was made
Mega Arcade Hub logo, favicon and icons Drawn by hand as SVG (scalable vector graphics) for this site
Arcade cabinet illustration on the home page Original SVG artwork drawn for this site
Game thumbnails Original SVG artwork drawn for this site
Mega Obby Adventure: game, characters, levels, music and sound effects Written and drawn in code by the site's creator
Snake Arena: game, snakes, orbs, arena art and sound Written and drawn in code by the site's creator. The 15 opponent snakes are computer programs (bots), not real people
Blob Battle: game, blobs, motes, arena art and sound Written and drawn in code by the site's creator. The 20 opponent blobs are computer programs (bots), marked CPU in the leaderboard
Website code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Written by hand for this project

No images, fonts, music or sound files were downloaded from the internet for this website.

2. Fonts

No font files are downloaded. The site asks the browser for fonts that are already installed on your computer (such as Trebuchet MS, Segoe UI or your system's default), so there is nothing extra to load and nothing to licence.

3. Third-party software

Phaser 3 - game engine

Used by the games Mega Obby Adventure, Snake Arena and Blob Battle. Version 3.80.1. Website: phaser.io. Licence: MIT, which is free to use. The required licence notice is kept in full below, and also in each game's own CREDITS.md file (games/mega-obby-adventure/CREDITS.md, games/snake-arena/CREDITS.md and games/blob-battle/CREDITS.md).

4. If you add something new

If a picture, font, piece of music or sound is ever added from somewhere else, write it down here with: what it is, where it came from, its licence (for example "CC0" or "CC BY 4.0"), and whether it can be used in a published game. If you are not sure, do not use it.
